Therapy for Anxiety, Depression, and Chronic Pain
The exhaustion and despair gets overwhelming when your thoughts just don’t stop swirling. Rumination has become the norm, and it’s become hard to get out of bed each day. Your relationships with the people you love, or your ability to feel love at all, have become flat or strained.
With stressors that are personal, global, and political, the weight of the world has felt too heavy. You know God cares, but you’re not entirely sure where he is right now or how to connect.
Emotionally, spiritually, and physically, you’re tired and seeking relief.
Therapy makes a difference. In your work with me, you’ll get to the root of your concerns while also learning practical coping skills for managing the day-to-day challenges that you face. Through a blend of evidence-based counseling, faith-based perspective, and a nonjudgmental environment, things will get better. You will find that over time, your mood lifts, your outlook brightens, and your relationships become richer.
You’ll lead the way on what is the most important for you to talk about in therapy, while I will provide consistent expertise in a kind and compassionate environment. I’ll check in with you occasionally about progress to ensure we’re on track toward your goals.
This is therapy that works.
What to Expect.
Free phone consult
We’ll start with a brief phone call. I want to make sure you’re clear on how it all works and that I feel confident I can help you. You can ask any questions that help you feel ready for therapy.
I get it - you only want to take this step once you’ve had a chance to assess whether it will be helpful for your situation, and that’s the purpose of our call!
Initial session
You will complete intake paperwork ahead of time electronically. In our first session (either in-person or online), I’ll ask questions about your life experiences, mental health history, and relationships. You’ll have opportunity to ask me questions. Together, we’ll develop goals for your therapy.
You’ll leave with the satisfaction of having taken the first step and excitement about what is ahead.
Ongoing sessions
I will save a weekly time just for you, keeping it convenient and predictable for your schedule. We’ll check in occasionally to ensure we’re making good progress toward your therapy goals. You can let me know if any adjustments are needed along the way.
Once you’re feeling better, you can decide if you’re ready to reduce the frequency of sessions or end treatment.
